Home Sweet Home by Anja Studer

Tonight we went to see Anja Studer’s solo exhibition at the Cre8ery Gallery. It included paintings upon paintings, framed photography and some installations. Also… there was Swiss chocolate (very important when one is a chocolate lover like me).

From my perspective the show was really well put together with a strong theme and narrative. Anja’s got a tonne of talent and if I had a $1000 to spend on one of her high-end pieces, I know just what I’d do with it. To be specific, I would be buying the painting that she used as a backdrop on her promo materials. It is stunning in person and I know that I could sit and soak it in for many years to come.
