For 2015, I have the honour and challenge of designing all of the promotional materials for PechaKucha Night Winnipeg. One of my favourite events in Winnipeg (and not just because I help to organize it), PechaKucha Night Winnipeg is now in it’s sixth year. Over the year’s we’ve been able to celebrate a wealth of Winnipeg talent, guaranteeing our audience an eclectic source of creative energy and inspiration. So my goal was to visually represent that in the promo pieces.
Last night (May 22), GDC Manitoba’s 18th installment of PechaKucha Winnipeg took place at the Park Theatre. The speakers proved to be an eclectic mix of thought-provoking and inspiring PechaKucha goodness, and I can’t wait for Vol. 19 so I can get another taste!
On December 5, GDC Manitoba’s 16th installment of PechaKucha Winnipeg took place at the Park Theatre. As always, it was an eclectic, inspiring mix of awesomesauce. My personal favourite was Tannis Zimmer, who rocked us with her rhyming story presentation about the heart and the mind.
